I took in the night sky above, letting
the cool breeze envelope me as my eyes darted out towards the city lights - the
lights growing blurrier by the second. As I stood on the edge of the building,
giddiness washed over me. How many times I held myself to blame for my
failings; for the people I had lost? How many times had I wished for people to
truly understand? If only. Yet things are never as simple as black and white.
I took another look out into the
vastness of the city, fifty stories from above ground. No, think again. Hold it
together once more.
Just once more.
